Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of OHOG chapter members. There are three categories of activities, all activities are identified as follows:
  • Closed (CL) events are those chapter events which are open to chapter members and one guest per member.
  • Member (MB) events are events that are open only to OHOG members.
  • Open (OP) events are those chapter events which are open to chapter members, national HOG members and other guests as desired.

    Welcome to Orlando HOG's (OHOG) website. Cruise around and take a look at the different sections of the site. There's lots of information about our chapter and events. My name is Wayne Hartshorn, 2008 Chapter Director. Our family of friends enjoy the FUN and PARTICIPATION, and most of all, SOCIALIZING with FRIENDS. Check out the Calendar link. And, be sure to view our Photo section. You'll see the participation and fun in action. Our “Family of Friends” continues to grow. We offer a special welcome to our new members. Come on out and join the FUN. There is always a variety of activities available to our members and their guests. Our Activities Officer has announced that almost 200 rides and events have already been scheduled for 2008. We now have a pool of 41 Road Captains to lead our group rides and keep the rides safe. New journeys and destinations to visit or ride to are being added each month. Variety and Fun is our goal. So, visit our site, look us over, and contact one of us if you have a question. HAVE FUN! We look forward to seeing you on our rides and at our monthly gatherings. Come on out with your H-D motorcycle and ride with our “Family of Friends”.

    FLORIDA STATE RALLY, OCTOBER 2008

    FIRST TIME EVER: There will be a number 1 chapter in the state of Florida this year in 2 different categories. One award will be given out for the chapter that provides the most volunteers. This award will have the 25th Anniversary HOG Logo on it, with the chapters name, and number of volunteers the chapter provided. Chapter members must pre-register for the Florida State HOG Rally by September 3rd to be eligible to win this award. In addition, any chapter that has 10 or more volunteers will be given a volunteer appreciation plaque. Last year 10 chapters in our state took home this award. The winning chapter will be given a second Volunteer Plaque that will be passed on each year with the chapters name engraved in a plate with the year of the rally. The next award will be for the chapter that has the most members Pre-register for the rally by September 3rd. This award will be based on how many miles each member from your chapter has ridden from your chapter dealership to the host site. The award will have the same Logo as the Volunteer Plaque. Example: If your dealership is 150 miles from the Cocoa Beach Hilton Ocean Front your chapter would get 150 miles times each member that Pre-registers toward the Number 1 chapter in the state of Florida attendance award. The award will have the Chapter name, Year, Chapter attendance, and Chapter mileage on it as well as the statement Florida State HOG Rally Chapter Attendance Award 2008. Number ONE chapter in the State. In addition there will be a second award with your chapters name on it as the Chapter Attendance winner for 2008 put on the name plate that will be turned back into the Florida State HOG Rally at the end of Pre-registration for the 2009 rally to be passed on annually. All chapters that have at least 30 members in attendance receives a chapter attendance plaque. Last year 10 chapters received this award. Chapter members must pre-register to win this award.
